For this project I wanted to encapsulate the feeling of intense heat during summertime through lighting. After studying references from Italian small towns, as well as stylistic inspiration from the movie Luca, I went ahead and modeled and textured all the assets to better fit the mood I was going for, followed by the lighting. To further challenge myself I took all my renders in Nuke and composited a smoke effect on top to add more visual interest.

My focus for this project was on composition and representing mood through light in an exterior scene.
