Hello, my name is Anca Dubalaru, and I am a Romanian-born Lighting Artist currently completing my senior year at the Savannah College of Art and Design. My artistic practice is driven by a deep fascination with the relationship between art and mathematics — how light, geometry, and structure work together to shape visual storytelling.
I’m inspired by the precision and logic that underpin both disciplines, and I enjoy exploring how technical understanding can enhance artistic expression. 
I approach every project with curiosity, discipline, and a collaborative spirit. I take pride in problem-solving and fostering positive, creative environments. Above all, I’m motivated by a desire to create lighting that not only enhances visual impact but also connects emotion, aesthetic, and timeless artistic tradition.
